This Wednesday, the Chamber held its Christmas cocktail luncheon at the Official Residence of Canada in Madrid, together with the Honourable Ambassador of Canada, Jeffrey Marder as host and with Zulema Aragonés Monjas, president of the Chamber and head of the rating agency, DBRS Morningstar in Spain.
We had the opportunity to meet again with members of the Chamber, collaborators and with the Trade Commissioner Services of the Embassy, and their guests. It was a very special occasion in which we celebrated the beginning of the Christmas season and toasted for the coming year that is about to arrive.
In addition to thanking the Ambassador of Canada and his team of Trade Commissioners, led by Mazen Mahfouz, we would like to thank the members of the Chamber and sponsors of the event: The Lemon Tree Education, Mapsted, Air Canada, Celestica, Klev & Vera International Law Firm and Bureau Quebec en Barcelona.
One of the most anticipated moments for the attendees was the raffle. On this occasion, two plane tickets to Canada were raffled off, courtesy of Air Canada, two premium tickets to the Alegría show by Cirque du Soleil, which is currently on tour in Madrid, and two dinners at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, for its restaurants ISA and Dani Brasserie.
