Velto Renewables, new member of the Canada- Spain Chamber of Commerce

The Canada Spain Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Velto Renewables, an international renewable energy producer, has joined the Chamber.

Velto Renewables is an international investor and long-term owner of renewable energy projects. Established in 2020, the company is a subsidiary of CDPQ, a global investment group. Velto Renewables is committed to contributing to the decarbonization of the global economy by investing in and developing an international and multi-technology portfolio of renewable energy projects. Velto Renewables currently owns 216 MW of operating solar PV projects in Spain and are seeking to grow their portfolio by becoming a local player in the countries and regions where they invest.

As a subsidiary of CDPQ, they believe strengthening commercial ties between Canada and Spain and between a Canadian group of companies in Spain and other connected geographies contributes to generate a global positive impact.

Furthermore, Velto Renewables is always excited to explore synergies with partners that share the vision of a decarbonized economy and are passionate about the renewable energy transition.   We are very proud to have Velto Renewables as a member of the Chamber, and look forward to assisting them as they grow their business in Spain and other markets.
