The Canada Spain Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share information about the 5th Canadian Film Festival in Madrid..
This year, the 5th edition of the Canadian Film Festival in Madrid will be held from February 23rd to 27th at the Cineteca del Matadero (Madrid) and, for the first time, online at Filmin from February 24th till March 2nd. This 2022 will be a tour of several cities in Ontario and Quebec and will reach Beirut after having traveled through a diversity of environments and landscapes. The programming consists of 6 feature films in their face-to-face version and 15 feature films in their online version on the Spanish platform Filmin, where, apart from the films of the face-to-face Festival, a special by Jean-Marc Vallée and a special by indigenous women will be presented.
The Festival will also feature the presence of Joakim Robillard, actor from the film “Souterrain”, to hold talks with the public, and Marie-Julie Dallaire, who will give a preview of her film “Big Giant Wave”, Jean-Marc’s latest project Vallee.
